A good sturdy pitcher is often seen as an old fashioned object, but itps just such a useful form to have around the home and kitchen. They are certainly a classic for serving iced tea, sangria, or other beverwge of your choice, but are also great for pouring sauce or stock while cooking, watering houseplants, as an elegant folksy way to display fresh cut flowers, or even filling your coffee maker! 
This pitcher is thrown sturdy with a good thick rim andna wide sturdy handle, it is not a delicate little dainty thing, but a classic workhorse vessel perfect for constant use. I have carefully pulled and shaped the rim into a pronounced pouring spout, so it serves beautifully without any dribble. The handle isnt simply funtional, but shines with decorative flourish of a leaf form tail, and a lovely moonstone pearl accent at the top.
It has been glazed in a rustic iron glaze and fired to over 2350f in a wood burning kiln which yields a stunning finish which must be seen in person!
